I've been to Death Valley a few times but no wheeling. I'm not to interested. I know some people absolutely love the place I don't see the appeal. Have fun though if you guys end up going.

There's supposedly some good rock crawling out there too. There's a HUGE loop that takes like two or three days to complete. May be worth it in the fall or early spring!

Any wheeling this weekend? I'm free Saturday after 1000 and before 1700 and most of the day Sunday. Gotta be back by 1600 Sunday.

I would be good for Sunday. I have to go hang out with screaming children at chucky cheese on Saturday.

What do you have in mind?

Not really anything in mind... I'm up for pretty much anything as long as I'm back by 1600-ish...

I'd like to go out this weekend but the jeep is in the shop so I'll have the new truck. As long as we go someplace with bypasses for anything gnarly I'm down. The truck has a locker, just don't want to ding her up too much yet, getting stabbed by the wife would suck.

Hey Andy watch out, it gets deep towards the outside of the wash. It looks like your Jeep is fine, my question is how did a short guy like you have to swim to get that picture?

Meeting at the McDonalds in Boulder city @ 9 am on Sunday Rolling at 9:30 the latest.

what the heck is up with you people actually using your jeeps?

Arent they just supposed to sit in storage in a non-drivable condition while you work through a near endless list of projects that you have somehow convinced yourself are 100% necessary though they are far from it?

I was still sitting in the drivers seat when that picture was taken. The guy hanging on the side of the Jeep was providing ballast because the Jeep was on a serious ledge there and was listing farther and farther towards the drivers side. The drop off on that side was a good 15 feet. When I was finally pulled out, the high water line was actually above the bottom of the soft portion of the door. That trip was the beginning of the end for the transmission.
