The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!

As a point of interest, WM702 group is heading through PR around 1 PM this Sat & VVW4 is doing their annual Toys for Tots run this Saturday as well. Plenty of wheeling opportunities!

Trail: Rocky Gap Road/Potato Ridge starting from the Red Rock Side. This may require you to pay to get into Red Rock.

My number is 445-8397 if you need it
It's been a number of years since I've run PR from the RR side; should be interesting to see the lines you lead through. I'll be there!

tater ridge is easy to lead, there are no real side trails. Not like leading wheelers pass at night for the first time, haha

Your run your lead (unless you delegate).. It's a pretty basic trail to stay out of the fun stuff. I haven't taken any of the good parts (i.e. side parts off of the main trail) backwards though so I wouldn't be as efficient leading if you wanna hit the good stuff from RR direction. If you decide to start from Lovell, I will lead if you want.

I like starting with the hardest side first (Lovell) when I am freshest and then wrapping up with a nice easy ride down the mountain and airing up in the Willow Springs picnic area so everyone has a place to hang out and shoot the breeze if they want while people are wrapping up their rigs.

But like I said, this ain't my run so I am just poking along for the ride

I've honestly never done the Lovell side (only up/down the RR side), so I really dont know whats best....

It would save some on fees as well.

There are a few small obstacles with no bypasses, but you shouldnt have any problem if you take your time

We did the Gap from RR side two weeks ago and is passible no issues. The last big washout took a little time getting some stock Jeeps through but all made it fine. Great day run. Yes the fee is an issue unless you are old like me.

I've done the trail from both sides before. going from the parhump side into RR is way better and you don't have to pay the fee, which should be a highlight for many, since they will already be saving all week for gas money, haha

I have an annual pass too, I'll send out an update when I get home later this evening.

We'll start from the Lovell side.

Mind if I cross post on WM702 and see if a few others want to tag along?

That should be fine, but i'd say a limit of 10 rigs. Just so it doesnt take forever.

I dont mind if everyone else doesn't mind/
