New to Las Vegas

Hello my names Joel, I live in north LasVegas just got stationed here and trying to learn the area and hit some trails, don't really know anyone here. I joined a wrangler club but not liking them so far, all they ever do is go to Arizona and California and I've lived in both places and want to explore the state I'm currently in, also I have a CJ5/3 speed that is not highway friendly for long periods of time. Im not into hard rock crawling just some back road cruising and maybe some camping. Hit me up I could use some connections in town.
This is my 77 CJ5

Welcome to Vegas, that's an awesome looking CJ you have. Based on your trail preferences NevadaBackroaders sounds like it would be a great fit along with some of the more mild runs with WarMachines702.

That being said, I live in the Northwest part of town as well and I normally am available to do some trails Saturday afternoons and Mondays. PM me anytime you want to go wheeling and if I am available, I would gladly join.

Awesome CJ, and Welcome to the forum.

As others have mentioned, the Backroaders seem like they should be your pace. I don't go out too often (jeep has been down for a long time) but when I go wheeling thats the type of stuff I do. Just like taking back roads and basic trails to new places. If you want, check in here and in the other thread about trails runs to see if anybody is planning to go anywhere.

My jeep is back up and running so I'm likely to be headed down to the lake and river a few times this summer, trails out to good springs, maybe some camaping in capenter canyon, things of that nature. I as well as others will often post up in this section to see if anybody wants to join in.

Again, welcome!

New to LV myself, just got in last night. My TJ is in it's way from England, so it'll probably be another month before it gets to L.A, but I'm excited to get out on some trails and explore.
