We have a lot of stock Jeeps in the club too. To get more info you can go to our web site. WWW.VV4W.ORG
You will find yourself more motivated to do some further upgrades with our group than with the Backroaders. The trails they run don't push the performance of a stock vehicle. You may also want to do a Google search as there is a Pahrump 4X4 club also that we run with once in a while.

Bigger tires 33"-35", a suspension upgrade and some lockers go a long way for off road performance. A bumper can help improve clearance issues and provide a platform for a winch and lights but isn't a priority.
Ground clearance issues come up quite often and skid plates and rocker protection is nice.

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Thanks for the information! Looking for family friendly Vegas groups later this Spring. Was just on the VV4W site yesterday and lot of good trail information. Will post a message over there when we're ready to head out for our first official jeep trail trip.

Just moved to Vegas a few months ago - funds are tight so I haven't really had the chance to get the jeep out on the trails but would like to get out and do some of the stuff around here. Love having the Jeep in Vegas, topless all the time. If anyone is going out on an easier run - hit me up! My jeep is upgraded with a custom 4in long arm suspension lift with Rancho 9000 shocks - Warn M8000 winch - custom bumpers and sliders. I've got 33in Mud Kings but need to locate a spare - if you know anyone on that front hit me up as well

Here's a few pictures of the jeep:

Im currently in Iraq right now, but should be home by the end of June. I have some other things going on as soon as I get back, but Id like to do some light wheeling up in Logandale. I havent been offroad since Moab last fall. And that trip ended up costing me over two grand in damage. Since the "carnage" up there, Ive been a little skiddish about wheeling in my daily driver.

Ill be sure to check back in as soon as I get back and am ready to go. I wouldnt mind doing "Tator" Ridge again (up by Red Rock area). A stocker can make it through, in case any one is wondering.

Being Green is the new Red.
