So that would make you a Ruger and XD fanboy. The only way your logic works is it you apply it to yourself as well. You call me a Glock fanboy because I own one. Nevermind the facts of the reason I bought it and nevermind the multiple other brands of firearm that I own.

Same here! I sort if stumbled into mine, and now I have a multitude of reasons for selecting another one for purchase. Being a fanboy or lemming isn't anywhere on my list of reasons for wanting to own a simple, reliable, safe, and easy to use firearm. I can completely disassemble mine to all of the moving parts laid out an the table with a punch or drill bit.
One of the tests done by some company was 1 million rounds through one, and it didn't have a catastrophic failure. The barrels wore out, but that's essentially it. Everything else took the abuse!

The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!

No, just calling you out on what you said. You said you weren't an XD fanboy because you also owned a Ruger. Then you proceeded to call me a Glock fanboy presumably because I own one. Unless the Ruger somehow I absolves you of fanboy status? If that is the case, I must not be a Glock fanboy because I own a Ruger as well. ****, I just realized that because I was looking at Sig and The XD for a carry gun in Idaho I must be a fanboy of one of those because I don't own enough Rugers.

Well I no longer own a Glock or an XD. You can all me a ruger fan and you would be right. I don't really have any problems with either though. I'll probably get one of either in 9mm sometime as I didn't really like either in .45. IMHO I think .45 is too big of a caliber for the light weight of a polymer gun. I'm thinking 9mm is an ideal round for the platform of either brand.
