2 reasons for my part:
1. I got my CCW so I could go in to 7-11 and grab a drink after some desert shooting without having to leave my firearm in plain sight on the seat/dash while I went inside or walk around "strapped" since that was not nearly as common back then and just asking for trouble. CCW let me conceal it legally.
2. Beretta 96FS + skinny dude = not a comfortable carrying situation.

Now that I have a more concealable firearm and hopefully soon a decent carry solution, I may carry more often.

There is no requirement in NV (NLV being the exception) to have a firearm in a vehicle "in plain sight". Your vehicle is considered an extension of your home and you do not require a CCW to conceal/carry it in your vehicle. However, you can not conceal a firearm on your person, even in a vehicle, without a CCW. In NLV you may carry concealed in your vehicle which makes it the easiest way to transport in that city

I wanted to take the class to understand the laws and gun rights in Az. better and ask questions. Sure, you can go to the forums but I really would rather know the credentials of the person answering those questions rather then some self proclaimed internet expert. And... just in case I ever wanted to carry. In the almost 5 years, that's only happened once.

It was in NLV; I used to practice out at the North end of Jones before civilization happened.

I have kept renewing the CCW since then because I prefer to carry in some situations outside of the aforementioned reason & because I had planned on getting a more concealable firearm in the future.. I just procrastinated a lot

This is really interesting. It's validated my thoughts on the subject.

Now there's a future ex-wife candidate if I ever saw one.

Btw, Bonez & Khris, valid reasons.

OR...a future polygamist wife! Can you say a lifetime of awesome threesome action?!

The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!

I can say it but that's as close as I get to it ;-)

In other news, I bought a Magpul K grip this week. Anyone try one yet?

Picked up an LCP with laser this weekend. Does anyone have any experience with the XL mag extensions? It looks a little funky but seems to get great reviews.
