A true tragedy indeed. Sasha Grey, not the kids or the nuns

Greg got it... Wasn't talking about my jeep or anything I actually own. More work related and Jeep in general!

Anyone with like an '10 or newer Jeep JK want to do me a favor? Involves pulling out two phillips screws and popping a plastic trim piece off to see where a hole is located? Should be less then 5 minutes worth of work. If you could take a picture that would be even cooler!!!

saw a big ole accident on Summalin Pahkway yesterday, around 6:30.

I was headed south or east or what-the-hell-ever direction it goes in and there was a SUV on its side mashed together with a tree at the top of the berm inbetween east/west bound lanes, no idea how it got up there or got so mangled.

Damn desert folk cant drive in a little rain....

Whoops!!!

And right now jeep has me stumped!!! Their part number for the fuel filler housing shows that it fits '07-'12. We've made a pretty cool fuel door for the JK, fits our 4 door JK rubicon really nice! There's a small indexing pin though that we're hearing is in a different location. Ours is at the 9:00 and we're hearing about some at the 12:00 position. Why change the location of a simple indexing hole??? And why does jeep only have one part number for the housing if there's indexing pins in different locations? I'm starting to maybe think it's a 2 door vs. 4 door thing...

Maybe they just turn the housing so the indexing pin lines up?

Wouldn't work cause where the fuel filler pushes thru isn't actually centered so as it rotated around it wouldn't fit correctly. Plus the angles involved would twist it around incorrectly as well.

Good News: You guys hear that the UN Arms Trade Treaty failed? The US, Russia, and China all asked for more time to consider the draft treaty which required unanimity among the nations in attendence. Being that the conference on the treaty has now ended, the treaty basically died in conference.

Thanks for checking that! It's appreciated and is helping me figure out what the heck jeep was doing!

Here's an '08 2 door... I'm 99.9999999% sure it's a 2 door vs. 4 door issue.

Off to jeep to go compare 2 door and 4 door housing part numbers and maybe even just buy a 2 door for reference. What year to buy is always the question though when you're buying for a jeep you don't own and an issue you don't totally have a true grasp on yet...
