Got a question for you guys, my wife wants us to start going back to church and was wondering who here goes and what religion/church y'all go to?

My wife and I have been going to The Crossing (southwest at Buffalo and Windmill) a solid 7 months now. We tried about 4 before this one. Without getting too deep into it, I have always been very picky where I go, and I love this church. It's non-denom and come as you are. I just bought a house in Henderson and we will for sure be making the drive!

I've heard about the crossing church but ive not been to church myself in years and she think it'll be good for us

Just want one that isn't focused so much on money and more on the beliefs.

The only advice I have is you only get from any religion what you put into it and I don't mean money.

It suddenly occurred to me! Another reason this state is broke-they spent millions on an HOV bridge to summerlin pkwy that goes to the exact route the other lanes do, however, the HOV lanes get their own special flyover bridge. Big waste of money for NO GOOD REASON! Also, they have/are spending countless hundreds of thousands or millions building pedestrian bridges that no one uses. Why didn't they just put up lights like by UNLV? Big waste of money! Also, as if driving around this city isn't confusing enough, they had to go and implicate further the I15/215 interchanges on the south side of town. On/off ramps three miles long-big waste of money and resources! Why can't people figure this out?

Its all about where the money comes from. I am not sure about the hov flyover, but the 215/15 interchange is all federal money designated for highways. I am honestly curious to see what happens with 93. They recently designated it as an interstate highway between Vegas and Phoenix. From the plans it looks like getting around Boulder is going to be fun. Maybe that means it will be a shorter route to get to Burro Wash, but I doubt it. My big question is how much money are they going to sink into an off/on ramp at the railroad pass casino. By the time you add in a bridge and everything else that is going to be an expensive project to get to a lousy casino.

We're LDS (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), location = pretty much every other neighborhood you drive through has one or two

Yeah, all of that stuff has been budgeted for for quite some time, and not all of the money necessarily comes from within the state.

It snot like there's a big pile of money sitting around and they decide to put in an overpass rather than pay the cops or teachers.
