Puck, you need to practice patience, seriously. It's been on CL for all of what, two weeks? Give it some time, not everyone checks that often. You may find someone that just has to have an older black Cherokee because their dad took them hunting in one! You never know!

That Cherokee could be a bad a$$ rig if built properly it is a full size rig so body damage is more
likely to happen I my self like those old cherokee's
If it was mine I would make sure it is mechanically sound the put a 14 bolt rear HP dana60 front both geared and locked then 39's-42's of course fender cutting is needed cage it and wheel it

I can show you guys a trail that starts in wheeler pass hits Wallace canyon goes through carpenter canyon then works its way up trout into lovell canyon where you can head up potato ridge or take pavement back to Vegas but that's more of a full day of wheeling

But anyway I will see if I can meet you guys at for the trip we have a rebel gas station where the gas is $2.99 per gallon saw it today

That's funny. I actually saw an H3 turn around and go back halfway up the Cold Creek side.

Puck im like you I have car A.D.D. I change my mind every 5 seconds. Here is my last input on what I would do if I were you.

I have a really hard time wanting to work on something that is covered in oil and interior ripped to ****. I start with a real intensive wash. Top, bottom, inside and out as well as underneath. Then take an inventory of all that's wrong with it. Rust, leaks things that don't work. Then things you want to add. Lift, cb, lockers, cage whatever. Then prioritize those things with what is most crucial.

I wouldn't think about making it into the condition Marns is in because honestly it isn't going to happen. He started with a solid truck and has made it better. You started with Swiss cheese, but it runs like a champ. Tackle the little projects first then work your way into the major stuff. It will take some time, sweat, blood, and most of all money but you can make yourself a sweet little rig.

As you've noticed a lot of us are here to help. If you decide it isn't what you want that's fine, but dont expect us to bust our knuckles to see it roll away and have some gomer not appreciate the work put into it.

Puck you are a solid cool guy. You won't get any hate from me with what you decide. Just my .02.

I vote we meet at the gas station in pahrump closest to the trail head so we can all just roll out from there. 6 or 7.
I say 4:40 at the Carpenter Canyon turn off.
