I would think 11k would be a great price. Any lower and I would start taking things off, heck the hard top would be the first thing, those move fast. Then the winch and so on. I would take a torch to those flares to get the color back in them, it is a quick fix and I know that you have one. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/re...ite-up-622942/

Well one thing to consider out here when you think about pricing is that you really do not have to worry too much about rust.

On a second note it is a sad day, I just put the hard top back on. It was getting too hot for the kids, I cannot wait until they get older and I can roll topless and doorless all the time.

It's not that I don't like it. In fact I like it a lot... I currently have my truck, my jeep and my car. My jeep is worth probably about $10K. My car is realistically worth about $5K eventhough I've had it listed at $7200 for the past 3 months hoping to find a biter! That's $15K I can put in my pocket. I'm picking up something with the interior comfort of my car yet the offroad capability of my jeep tomorrow for under $5K. It needs at the very very very very most maybe a grand dumped into it. So realistically I could be looking at $9K in my pocket, only owning 2 cars instead of 3 which is pointless and a lot of maintenance, insurance, and registration fees.

The jeep sits probably 85% of the time and the truck is driven maybe 1% of the time. As much as you think I like my truck, it's lucky if it gets driven once a month. Heck, it's only been driven once in the past 2 months actually. But it's hands down by far the most fun vehicle I own.

I don't really want to list it too high and not get any bites on the jeep. I'm buying the new ride tomorrow so as of tomorrow I'm going to have 4 vehicles. 2 need to go... I'm thinking unload the jeep first and keep the car around a bit but leave it listed high. If someone does show up to give me too much money for it so be it I won't complain. If it doesn't sell at the high price I'll keep it while I'm fixing the couple issues with the new ride and then once the new ride is dialed in I'll drop the price on the car to a more reasonable level and hopefully let it go then.

Pulling the winch off has crossed my mind to put on the ride I'm picking up tomorrow but the more I think about it, it's just a cheap smittybuilt winch. I think it's worth leaving on there just to get the sales attention. If I buy a winch for the new ride I'll step up to a warn or something a bit more known for reliability. The smittybuilt has never had an issue but I always worry the one time I really really need it is when the cheapness of it will shine.

and I don't know about pulling the hardtop... Would anyone actually buy a jeep that only has a bikini... I know I wouldn't. I'd want a top of some sort that's for sure!

Funny thing is I need to build some custom front axle shafts for the new ride but once those are in, it will be every bit as offroad capable as my jeep if not more actually so I'll still be on the trails. I've been more active on the warmachines page cause they seem to enjoy doing more of the type of wheeling I bought my jeep to do. This new ride after the axles are installed will still keep up just fine. It should be every bit as capable as a Jeep JKU on 35's to be honest. It's not locked up though so I left the "rubicon" part out. LOL

Make sure you list it on Pirate and on KSL. The lack of rust plus the extra attention to the details will catch the eye of outta town folks

So what's the new ride? You seem to specifically leave out what it is.

The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!

It's a H3 on 26" DUBs, which may sound bad, but it has a sweet grape purple candy paint job, that is sick fresh. Powr, you'll like it, it has a killer hood bumpin system, with screens everywhere (DVDs on the trail)

Sorry Khris, had to tell them, I'm excited to ride in it!

Probably because ours aren't full of rust? That's the only reason I can think of... the prices are ridiculous here

Funny part will be when the new owner logs on here and posts pictures of it!

If I could sell my truck I would buy it. Apparently no one wants a truck that gets 12 mpg.

X2 on the fender flares! I didn't take a torch to mine, I painted them with krylon fusion black rattle cans, I was so suprised on how they looked after, like brand new!
