I think the "poor guy" is playing a huge joke and you guys don't get it. It is not supposed to be taken seriously.

 wouldn't be the first time I missed the joke, most likely not the last either. He sure has spent a LOT of time and money for just a joke, I know I would do a lot different if I had that kinda time and money.

Well today I was in Cedar City visiting my brother and I happened to see a Gun Pawn, and inside that Gun Pawn there was a used Ruger 10/22... so I bought it.

It was $140, and then I spent $20 on ammo. I thought I would wait a while longer to pick up another gun, but after we went shooting today, I didn't care too much about the money spent. Utah is a great place to hike/offroad/shoot! Plus I got my brother to shoot his first gun!

10/22's are a lot of fun. I just painted my stock khaki this week for the desert look

If you buy any high capacity mags don't waste your money on the butler creek junk. The ruger factory mags are the only way to go.

OMG!!! AMEN TO THAT!!! They are absolute junk. Mine jams every three or four rounds with them. Also get decent ammo, if the bullets are loose in the cases, it will have feed issues too!
