I second the tj over Yj. Yjs are getting to the age that you'll end up having the same issues you already have.

ANY vehicle you own will have the same problems. I'm doing an in tank fuel pump on my Rango this weekend. It an 03! Any mechanical system can an will fail at some point! If you don't wanna work on it, get something bran new and buy a bumper to bumper service contract! It comes with the territory of doing your own work. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's a bytch!

There's NOTHING wrong with paying for repairs that either you can't do or don't want to mess with! I paid a shop to do a rear axle shaft on the Rango. I would have save only about 150 doing it myself but would have lost the better part of a Saturday and a lot of aggravation. Worth it!

i find wrenching to be theraputic, and rewarding, but when it comes to a daily driver, no way, let somebody else fix it.

I love a good weekend project on the jeep if it repairs or betters something. I guess i'm forced to love working on the nova as well ("When are you gonna fix the carburetor!? why is there always a puddle under it?! nag nag nag).

But i hated working on my magnum.

I like having a company truck. no maintenance, no cost, no worries.

Any of you guys want to make $200 cash? I want to fix that seal leak and replace the alternator and battery. Looks like im going to be stuck with the Junk for a while. No one wants it looking like a POS. So any takers for a Saturdays worth of work? And as far as tools go, I dont have much at the moment. So if this happens, I can brink my Junk to you or where ever. It drives with out leaks on the road but I cant take it off road with out gas going everywhere.
