Remember last month when law enforcement found a 4 acre marijuana farm at Mt. Charleston? Here are the coordinates.

3618'4.68"N , 11538'25.18"W

It's not too far from the archery range.

Had a GREAT run this morning over in AZ. You all should've come! Mines, petroglyphs and the desert big animal hat trick ... each of these shots were taken this morning. Of course, I forgot to bring the good camera ...

Great pictures. How far/long is the drive to AZ? The furthest I've driven since I moved here was Rachel, NV.

My only time to hit to the trails is Tuesday and Wednesday. If I had weekends off I would have tagged along. Maybe another day, but you have to promise to wait up for me.

From my house in Henderson, it was about an hour to the dirt. This was all in the Lake Mead NRA off of the Temple Bar Road.

Most of those pictures were taken on the Cohenour Loop Road, and yes ... it'll be on the site before too long. The Burros were spotted just off another trail in the area. It was a fantastic trip. I'm still on a high from it.

Nice, glad to see everyone getting out and about in the cooler weather.

I havent moved my jeep more than across the driveway in a few weeks.

That trip to ealy gave me my fill of jeep for quite a while. I should drive it around tonight though, see how it's running after giving me all the trouble in the mountains.

New toy today though....

That's so sexy.

Was thinking of getting a Remington R15, but .223 ammo is so expensive now.

meh, its the same price as .17HMR....

You can get .223 for 20someodd cents per shot. I cant afford to feed my M1A though, just dropped 53 cents a round for SURPLUS .308

I was just at Bass Pro Shops and they were around $20 for 20 for target rounds. $1 per shot. Well worth the fun, but it's not something I'd easily stop shooting and the costs add up.

I figure BPS would be more expensive, but I was already there. Should I be looking for ammo somewhere else?

I love that stock, really good looking.

In terms of ammo cost, that's why you need to buy a ruger 10-22 AND a model 700 30-06 :-)

I'll be adding a 10/22 to the stable eventually. I've always wanted to trick one out a bit.

As for the .30-06....

Well, I've already got something along those lines.

All my bulk ammo comes from the internet, you should be buying surplus government 5.56 if you have an AR, dont waste your time with expensive ammo.
