The hayabusa motor is way more powerful than the 1000! It's the difference of around 50-60 HP, which in something like a bike that only weighs 450lbs, is the difference between 185 and 200+ mph. The busas are sick! I used to ride a CBR 1000rr and topped it out at 191. When I had my f4i, I could keep up with the 600rrs except they would pull on me a little between shifts. I could stay within a bike length if the guy was ok at shifting. It would be a closer race or a win if the guy couldn't shift. On my 1000, I could hang with busas like that until about the bottom third gear and then they would just run away.

Hi, I was wondering if there is anything going on tomorrow in the Las Vegas area? Just got in town today and I have Sunday open so I thought it would be cool to get a wheeling trip in if there's one planned tomorrow. Thanks!!

I don't know of anything tomorrow.

I do know that sitting around the DMV on a beautiful Saturday sucks.

Well carpenters canyon was pretty awesome. Cool temps and the kids got to play in the water some... though they mostly just threw rocks in. It was a little bit of a hike though, from the northwest 95/215 it was about 190 miles round trip. After going there I do fully agree that it is a great spot for camping. There is plenty of space next to the creek for a few camping spots. The trail was very easy, I only put it in 4h so I could disco the sway bar. Other then that I don't think that I really needed 4wd anywhere. Heck the wife got out and did some trail running for a little over 2 miles. I felt sorry for her though, her shoe got wet when she went after my daughter once. I guess wet socks and running is not a good thing because she started to get a little blister from her sock.

Hiked Mary Jane on Friday and drove out to Carpenters Canyon today, then the wife asks me "So what are we doing tomorrow"

I have to be halfway nice to her for a little bit. She found out this week that she made some rank. Once she sews it on in dec/jan it will be an extra $400 a month after taxes.

On a happy note, I did get the new issue of JP in today. Got some reading to do... alright, mostly picture looking

Anybody interested in some take offs from a 2012 JK 4 door? It was off my buddy's JK

there's a rancho rear bumper and tire swing, chrome package, 3rd brake light (aftermarket) and maybe a couple more things.

Im interested in the hoist and stand, someone jacked mine and I was about to buy all new so I can pull the engine in my Stang later this summer. If ksturgio doesn't want them I more than likely will.

Thanks,
Ricky

Tell your wife that I said congrats on making Master. That is a really big step!

Thanks, she smoked it. Scored best pdg and skt in her career field, was the #2 selectee, and cleared the cut off by 32 points. Oh yeah and she just rolled over 14 years tis yesterday. The best thing is she thought that she was not going to make it...she was the #3 non-selectee last year.

Go for it man. I can use my dads and can wait on buying my own. I do all my work at their place right now anyways. I can wait until something else comes up.
