Go out to Dumont Dunes on a busy winter weekend you'll here it a lot they but that same engine in a lot of sand rails. That one or the haysbusa engine which is also pretty sick.
The hayabusa motor is way more powerful than the 1000! It's the difference of around 50-60 HP, which in something like a bike that only weighs 450lbs, is the difference between 185 and 200+ mph. The busas are sick! I used to ride a CBR 1000rr and topped it out at 191. When I had my f4i, I could keep up with the 600rrs except they would pull on me a little between shifts. I could stay within a bike length if the guy was ok at shifting. It would be a closer race or a win if the guy couldn't shift. On my 1000, I could hang with busas like that until about the bottom third gear and then they would just run away.
The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!
Hi, I was wondering if there is anything going on tomorrow in the Las Vegas area? Just got in town today and I have Sunday open so I thought it would be cool to get a wheeling trip in if there's one planned tomorrow. Thanks!!
Well carpenters canyon was pretty awesome. Cool temps and the kids got to play in the water some... though they mostly just threw rocks in. It was a little bit of a hike though, from the northwest 95/215 it was about 190 miles round trip. After going there I do fully agree that it is a great spot for camping. There is plenty of space next to the creek for a few camping spots. The trail was very easy, I only put it in 4h so I could disco the sway bar. Other then that I don't think that I really needed 4wd anywhere. Heck the wife got out and did some trail running for a little over 2 miles. I felt sorry for her though, her shoe got wet when she went after my daughter once. I guess wet socks and running is not a good thing because she started to get a little blister from her sock.
Hiked Mary Jane on Friday and drove out to Carpenters Canyon today, then the wife asks me "So what are we doing tomorrow"
Tell your wife that I said congrats on making Master. That is a really big step!
Thanks, she smoked it. Scored best pdg and skt in her career field, was the #2 selectee, and cleared the cut off by 32 points. Oh yeah and she just rolled over 14 years tis yesterday. The best thing is she thought that she was not going to make it...she was the #3 non-selectee last year.
