Slurring speach
Weakness on my right side
Confusion
Blinding headache

All the symptoms of another stroke, but it was just a little one again. Another TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). It presents just like a stroke, but it usually temporary.

I'm only 39. I didn't think it was physically possible, but this blows and sucks.

Damn, fine one second and kaput the next. Last I talked with you everything sounded good. That's terrible news.

Yeah, it can hit that fast. I talked to you maybe an hour before it happened. It's actually not that terrible of news. Terrible news would be when the symptoms aren't temporary anymore. Not sure if my memory was damaged again.

First sign something was about to happen was I kept smelling things that weren't there. In the past, I smelled burning hair, hair perm, decomp. Last night I smelled vanilla. That was a welcome change.

I would have thought you had a port by now.. Ive got one in my chest and it makes things a whole lot easier for those frequent hospitalizations. Either way, hope you are ok man, let us know if there is anything we can do to poke fun.. err.. help.

Do any of you play any multiplayer online games? I feel like playing something, but I think there is a mix of PS3's and Xbox's here. PC might be easier to get everyone playing if you're interested.

Medal of Honor is a good old one and I can make copies, so nobody needs to buy it. Interested?

Second, how did you know it was half an ounce off unless you took it off and put it on the balancer? Which as that point the half an ounce would cost them maybe a nickle to add really quick. Either that or they did not do anything and the tech's eyes have been calibrated by NASA and he can just tell that the wheel needs to be balanced.

Daily ***** session done for now.
I paid something like $250 or something at Ted Weins for lifetime alignment. I go wheeling, get it aligned, wheel next weekend, align again.. they did me up right

No port yet. I'm not really hospitalized regularly. Often these days, but nothing scheduled.

I have a huge bruise from the girl trying to hit a vein. I'm usually tolerant to pain, but she kept pulling and pushing the needle trying to catch the vein. It's like pushing a little knife in and wiggling it. I finally told her to stop and did it myself.

I don't think I'm out at all. I drove myself home this morning and already drove myself back to pick up meds and get the MRI. Any dizziness I had has passed. I'm walking ok. My eyesight wasn't affected.

They wanted to keep me overnight to observe and get an MRI. I signed myself out, got a little rest at home and went back for the MRI. No need to pay 8X hotel rates.

yeah firestone was 169 for the lifetime. 181 after taxes/shop supplies.

Still not sure how a company uses $10.20 in shop supplies to do an alignment. All they did was adjust the parts already on my Jeep. The funny part is the mechanic is using his own tools... so does he get a cut of that 10 bucks? Maybe after the dude was done he soaked his feet in 3 gallons of go-jo then used a few rolls of those blue paper towels to clean up to justify the money. I just hope when I take it back again they do not try charging me another 10 bucks for shop supplies.

I know some of you will say that it is just 10 bucks, who cares. But to me that is lunch or a few beers.... oh yeah the tire balance that they tried selling me was going to run $72 bucks. FU firestone. I can get lifetime tire balance at Sam's club for less than half that.

Now I have to run out and re torque the spacers to make sure that they did not F those up. I even told them to only torque the wheels to 85ft lbs...Can you guys tell that I do not trust or like anyone working on my junk.

Haha, when I had a heart attack and was taken into the ER here in Vegas, they started prepping me for a peripheral IV. I told 'em they weren't going to have any success and they responded with the standard "we've been doing this a long time"; I said "yeah? I've been doing it longer" but relented when they kept arguing. So I am panting, in pain and near delerious.. 8 tries later the guy says "hey you were right, you are a tough stick" I told him to just let me go home and die in peace. G/F and parents werent liking that story so the ER folks brought in a surgeon, told me to lean my head back and pop - just like that started a peripheral in my neck.

<shudder> ugh.. hated it. Hated it worse when it infiltrated later that night.
