I was doing ok going up with an open diff, but I was having some slippage, but locking the rear diff shut that down. I honestly don't know if I would have made it up open, 'cause I didn't try. I don't think I would have made it up in 4Hi though.

This gentleman is missing and presumed murdered based upon, I assume, physical and circumstantial evidence.

While I applaud your community service, I wonder if it is a monumental waste of manpower and time. That is not to say that a Search and RESCUE mission is a waste of time because that mission is different and time is critical. But, as the missing hiker in Red Rock demonstrated, multiple searches of the area found nothing. The search and rescue mission transitioned into a search and recovery mission and it was only when another hiker stumbled upon the the body in the area where multiple searches were conducted that he was finally found in spite of concerted efforts by searchers.

Well, if I can get my t-case slapped back in tonight I should be able to drive the jeep to work tomorrow which will allow me to go over the hood vent project with the owner. We got the rough pricing quote back and he's excited about the numbers they provided. I'm still a little worried when he really sees that cutting and stuff is involved on someones hood that he's going to back out but I want to show him mine tomorrow and address some ideas I have about making one that fits both TJ's and JK's for sure and possibly even the older models too or really just about anything out there. I've only got one mental issue design wise to figure out but I think it's doable...

Yeah, unfortunately none of the folks that have been briefed on the case (self included) are at liberty to divulge additional detail outside of what has been shared with the media thus far.

On a side note, some of the LV Metro Missing Persons Detail (LVMMPD) were checking out my rig during one of the searches, on the next one one of the detectives showed me some pics of his rig.. We should have a combined wheelin/searching event :thumbs up:

I can read between the lines. You're saying Zimmerman is a person of interest.
