Thats right, I remember harassing you about doing debrief. I still think that it would be strange doing debrief there. The pilot just came back from pulling some hard g's in the ol lazyboy, probably has not touched the actual aircraft in who knows how long. But then again, I suppose that it does not stink like a normal squadrons debrief.

He is looking for hardware; can't seem to remember where he left it. I might go for that Kwick setup if I have to buy new..

You should just drive down there in the jeep topless and take a few c clamps. It will latch on the front so you will only be missing 6 bolts and captive hardware. You still have to lift the top and put it in the truck, so why not just lift it on the jeep?

What are the requirements for that? That would be pretty cool job.

Thought about that, but we would have to lift it a lot higher to put on the jeep and have to work with angling it just right to get around the spare, hi-lift, etc., I don't know the kind of condition the seller is in and I know that my dad and I couldn't do what's necessary to get it on the jeep ourselves. I would MUCH rather put it on the jeep @ purchase, just seems like this is the better route to take right now.

Any suggestions within 2-4 hours? All it has to be is a place to camp (legally) with some trails and stuff for us to hike. It'd be cool if it were off the beaten path even.
Lots of places to go if you like bfe between Hiko and Sunnyside on Hwy 318. Pick a dirt road and boogie! Don't need no stinking permits!

Check out Gunlock resevior in Utah. It's just north of st. George. There are tons of trails and legal primitive camping, plus these awesome waterfalls and swimming holes below the resevior. I used my topo on my phone to navigate the trails and had a lot of fun

The other way is if you hold a valid commercial pilots license you can apply with General Atomics. I don't remember what all the requirements are but they used to want a TSI or better. I don't know if that is still the case.

This was pre-jeep days.
GPS location for where that camp photo was taken.
"Utah Back Country Camp" lat=37.2909453924, lon=-113.861155375
I had no problems with the xterra, dirt roads and nothing stock couldn't do. There is a creek crossing, but I saw passenger cars doing it.
