Yeah, but I am an aircraft mechanic and know very little about carbs. The last carb that I did was on a Rotax 914 around 5 yrs ago. Those we tuned to sea level and used a turbo so that at altitude it still saw the perfect 14.7:1 A/F ratio.

I took a look at the carbs I've got they are a 4 barrel q-jets and old holleys. I've also got an old mopar. No 2s sorry.

Did you look on eBay? Most likely much less than at a dealership or even look at aftermarket companies.

ebay no luck. Bestop only makes them for the 10-12 wranglers (cable style top, they do not make the surrounds for 07-09) and ****tybilt is supposed to be making a full set for $99... but they are still in production. 4wd already has a line of 50 people who have pre ordered.


This is the part that was $118 at the local dealer and $70 online $84 shipped.

Wait, what jeep do you have? 2011 JK is under your username? I'm confused cause you say bestop does make them for 10-12.

my jeep is a 2011, but the soft top that I bought was off of a 2008. in 2010 they switched to a newer style top that uses cables instead of poles. The newer style top just sits on the door surrounds above the doors, where the old style that I have clips into the door surrounds sorta like the TJ top.

I would have loved to find a newer style top, but all of the ones that I found had clear windows (tinted are around $250). That and I got this top in great condition for $250 total. The door surrounds just had some cracks where the top locks in.

Unfortunately, as I stated, I know nothing on carbs. The other thing is distance. I am on the complete otherside of the Valley.
