Base model Mac laptop starts at $1000, cheaper if you have a student ID.

My only issue is moving an icon. No need to move to Mac. That would be like having one bad date and going gay.

Yeah I don't like macs myself, just never took to them.

Who here does mountain biking? Always wanted to get into it and I guess now's a good enough time as ever since I quit smoking.

I've got a decent mtn bike. I've ridden it up and down the street once. Moved it out to the shed just the other afternoon.

YSB, why you taking pictures of my mutt? That's kinda strange!!! LOL dog fetish?

I've never bought a home computer in my life but if I ever do I'll consider looking at a mac for sure! Seems like for porn and internet it might work better.

LOL, didn't you just install an OBA system? And that boomin stereo couldn't have been that cheap? Don't think I didn't notice the RC cars either! I was kinda jealous scoping those things out!

not a huge mac fan at all. Something about wearing a scarf and ball hugging jeans while in line at starbucks is just not appealing to me. Personally, windows 7 is not that bad, but if you are the anti windows type and you don't want to be a trendy hipster you should look into linux, I am running ubuntu on one of my computers. All of the software is open source (free), all of the updates/upgrades are free. And to top it off with it being fully open source coding, if there ever is a virus you do not have to wait for all of the fixes that you do with Windows. That plus it helps when half of the hackers are coding to protect your system too.

I never understood why some people are so religious over their Macs. My first two computers were Macs, so it's not like I don't understand the appeal. It's just that my computing needs have changed and a PC suits me just fine.

I have no complaints with Macs. My only issue is that there is never enough available for Macs. I hated going to stores like Best Buy, Comp USA and Fry's and seeing aisle after aisle of software and hardware for PC's and a tiny little corner available for Macs. Not the fault of Mac at all. Supply and demand.

He likes to pretend he's one of the 99%, but just two doors down from him, his neighbor drives a Lambo.

Not sure why I took that picture. Possibly because it's not everyday I see a dog chewing on a hammer. I'm still trying to remember that day.

Who's into R/c cars? I just plugged in some 8 cells this morning for my slash. It's been a little while hopefully they still hold a charge. I started with gas but after using a friends lipo I've made the switch to electric.

I have a lipo hpi blitz. Need to fix it had a unfortunate run in with a wall in my brothers yard. I might go get some parts for it this week.

YSB, you swung by pickup that big black plug that I slid onto your hard shaft.

I actually traded a RC10GT to a friend of mine about 6 months ago for some bug spray service. I hadn't used it in years and figured his kid would enjoy it more then me. I didn't need the house sprayed but figured I'd trade for something at least and that's what he does for a living so why not...

And I know nothing about macs or PC's other then they both access the internet which is all I do on my home computer. My laptop at home is super slow though... But then again it was free and works so I won't complain.

I'm actually more curious about the cleanupmypc.com type pages and if those things really work. I'm tempted to try it... I'm computer dumb... I don't know what they're even used for other then internet, porn, and solidworks here at work.
