Well I was planning on going to Nelsons landing tomorrow but with the chance of rain and 60mph wind cancelled out.

Are you guys meeting up somewhere? My BIL and I might join up with you guys.

Nice, glad you had fun.

I was moving all my furniture in the rain on saturday (right? rain? wtf...the one day I am moving...)and I could see the snow pouring down on the mountains. We really gotta get a little group to go up wheeler pass.

the wagoneer is itching for some action! It goes into storage today...so sad.

Outta town this weekend, but first few weekends in Dec I'm free. Maybe a Sheep Mtn run sometime around there?

Thats the 2nd time or so someone has mentioned "sheep mountains" where is that? Is it the morman wells road? what about the dirt road that goes to the lakes north of las vegas, is it that road?

Yeah I think McRoberts was talking about it too. Never been myself, but I believe it is the Mormon well road that you pick up around the Corn Creek station, and then puts you out on 93N a few miles from the I-15. Anyway it goes up and through the sheep mtns, the really tall range you can see north of the city. Might even trace thru the Desert Nat'l Wildlife Refuge.

Dirt road that goes by the lakes North of Las Vegas - Do you mean Kane Springs Road that turns off of 93N past the Pahranagat (sp?) lakes? I've been camping up there, mostly just gravel roads and two-tracks. I don't know of any designated wheelin' trails, but lots of Guzzlers, good hunting.

Thats the lakes I was thinking of. You go to the wildlife refuge station and mormon wells rd is to the right and the pahranagat lakes trail is to the left. easy gravel road for the most part. either way, id like to do that.
