You got it working? I thought the last trail I was on with you was 2WD friendly and your shyt broke down.

If it's working well, you should be ok. I think tomorrow is looking more like a shooting and hanging out day than a wheeling day.

There's only one spot that I know your bus can't go, but you can park it at the base and ride up with me if you want.

Not sure what the plan is. I just need to put some miles on my Jeep to shut off some monitoring sensors so I could get it smogged. I'm open to whatever.

Things to bring:
Your own drinks, snacks, lunch.
Your own ammo.
If anyone wants to check out mines, I know a few safe ones. Bring two flashlights per person.

But eating your food and shooting your ammo just sounds so much better.

We always head out towards searchlight, goodpsrings is a bit of a hike for me, living on the east side.

Also not an all-day thing for me. I'llsee if everyone is up for driving to that side of the world.

Hey ksturgio, I would probably be free next Sunday. After about 1030 as long as my schedule stays clear. Maybe we can set something up. We'll see if my heep holds together over the week.

Not poor, just have all my money spoken for.

I met the wifey for lunch and we were actually discussing how we wanted to get a few more guns and start stocking up on ammo. I would love to go shooting and exploring tomorrow, but I will have the family in tow so I will have to skip this one.

If the weather is nice I might do angels peak from 95 to Kyle Canyon, not sure yet. I guess it depends on how much stuff I can get done today with zero motivation. I think I might play some MW3 instead of working around the house.

Again? Lol, its pretty rare that anything happens on the side of the road. I've only ever broken down and had to pull over once before I think.

That was from the trip to death valley 2 weeks ago. We had come down from 7400' elevation to -180' elevation, so a little timing adjustment was needed.

I had my timing advanced to deal with the stupid altitude (around 14*), then we plummeted, and I started climbing back OUT of the valley from -185' the engine was pinging (the fuel detonates in the cylinder rather than burns) big time so i had to hop out and retard the timing to about 10*. that was literally just a side of the road tuning moment to keep things running smoothly haha

overall the truck did well, had a few small issues (fuel percolation) but made the 425 mile round trip loaded down with about 900 pounds of people and gear just fine.
