I figured since the other thread started out as talking about making a club, and what clubs are available, we should have a thread that's just dedicated to setting up trail runs.
The title says it all, and it'll be less cluttered.
So, the 9/18/10 Run to Potato Ridge was a success!
Next item on the schedule is Logandale on 10/23/10 according to McRoberts. Seems like we have a few interested parties! Who all is planning to attend?
If there is anything in the meantime, or someone local wants another rig to ride with them, just post up and see if anyone is available!
Sitting by Lake Mead right now. Nice breeze. Hardly even notice the heat. It took a while to find a clean beach. Beaches that were clean just two weeks ago are now littered with bottles and diapers. What the hell is wrong with people?
We settled in at 8 Mile rd. Saw a naked couple. They weren't shy. They weren't attractive either.
I don't remember seeing them laying there but they were definitely on the rims that were on the bottom of the crane. If I could get them off on site I would take one. But then you would have to fight off the bee's as well. Hey can you up load the vid of me pushing that barrel over the hill? And how about that boat video. Go get a photo bucket account!
That's probably what I was thinking about. There you go. Pull that tire along with that huge axle. Zip tie the axle to your Cherokee...problem solved. You're welcome.
I keep seeing new posts and thinking that someone would post s serious answer. I should have known better. What other funny things could I be using this tire for?
Wow. The serious answer comes from me of all people.
Here's one off the equipment and ready for theft. It's probably about three feet tall. Maybe taller. It's still mounted to the wheel. I imagine it's heavy. Would something like this work for your secret project?

If it doesn't have to hold air, you can just get a recip. saw and cut around the rim. Unless you're looking for it, it probably won't be noticed. I'm almost certain we saw some of the same tires off the wheel in that same area.
Is this an art project or a really big swing?
It's around one of the mines. I'll text you details later if you want to get it.
Other than being nude, they weren't inappropriate. They even asked if it bothered us. If I didn't look their way, I was ok. They did say that there used to be a clothing optional beach in that same cove. It's been closed for a while, but people still use it for maximum sun.
Are there any legal places for that? I'm wondering what the fine for that would be.
