Hey everyone, I've been lurking in the background and enjoying the antics for a while so I figured I might as well toss my hat into the ring for some good ribbing too. More than likely I've seen one or two of you out on the road/trails over the years.. My current rig is a white '05 Rubicon LJ on 37's & I live in the NW part of the valley 95/Durango area. It'd be good to do some wheelin with ya'll sometime!

Anyway, just a few comments to play catch up: YSB, I am incredibly jealous of your mine exploring, one of these days I am gonna try and convince you to let me tag along

Someone was mentioning Sprint's wireless service slowing down or capping data speeds on their phones. Not true. However, the only devices you can get unlimited data on are the phones, not aircards. If someone has some more questions, they can PM me and I'll do my best to assist (I've worked in wireless industry since '93)

SirHK100: I 100% agree with the ideas for storage solutions. I would also love to see some quality reasonably priced fire extinguisher mounts that work with different diameter roll cages. Another big one for me would be a good hook that lets me hang my CB mike from the straps on the ceiling (I don't like drilling holes to mount stuff if I don't have to) without popping out of the hook or the hook snapping; the truck stops only have cheap plastic ones that hold on to the mike great, but the hook snaps. The metal ones don't snap, but the mike pops out of the place where the hook holds it. Something that would beat all of that though would be some rails that I can bolt down to the floor on both sides of the "bed" in my rig to have a way to strap down my tools, victims, etc. the rails should have adjustable points to tie stuff down to.. I have seen something similar in truck beds, but nothing designed for jeeps. My trip to the Rubicon with camping gear, tools, and liquid oxygen was an adventure without decent tie down points. The rails would be awesome!

Anyways.. I'll stop babbling

For now

TJ-complete replacement panel for the center dash console where the factory rear defrost, wiper, locker switches are to accept switches/gauges for lights, lockers, OBA, etc.

A shifter mounted generic mount that can securely accept major brand pistol holsters.

A factory antenna replacement bracket that can support am/fm/cb antennas in a single location and staff.

An aux fuse block for mounting under the hood that has enough spots for winch, at least 3 sets of lights, stereo amp, OBA system, and multiple other accessories. This will allow clean install of said accessories and limit wiring to battery.

Some decent light brackets that don't require modification to work.

I have an ammo can with a padlock mounted to my front bumper for tools. Could you make something with a lower profile, but with more room?

They're fabricators not alchemists, Ysb. You have to remember the laws of chemistry and physics! You can't fit something larger in a smaller space-silly rabbit.

Unless of course it's a porno, they find ways to make something larger fit in a smaller space all the time!

Hey Khris, your fuel door rocks! How about a locking one? I don't remember if it does or not.........people always buying locking gas caps.

Or how about a nice storage/toolbox for that tray on the left side under the hood for most TJs that have no ABS?

Or like ysb said a replacement panel under the cluster next to steering column that has a built in locking compartment for a CB/gps/ipod whatever, or a gun! I think there is some room behind those if I remember right.

How about a nice concealable liqueur pouch that is integrated above your head somehow with a collapse able drinking tube. That way I don't have to throw bottles out of my truck when I'm done.

Sure they can. They can make it lower and to provide the room I'm requesting, they can make it longer. That's not chemistry or physics. That's basic shop.

The 4.0 might be different, but on my 2.5, there is plenty of room behind that panel under the steering wheel. It's where my amplifier is concealed. It would be great if there was an aftermarket glovebox type pocket there with a quick access panel.
