That's a good price. I'll look into it. Thanks, MM.
If you don't want to wait for shipping, James at Adam's Driveline sells the rough country ones too for $55 a pair and he usually has several sets in stock. I just bought them from Rough Country directly while I purchased other stuff, so they shipped for pretty much free.
Picking up my wife now. I'm sitting in the basement garage. There's a celebrity golf tournament and there's quite a few private executive security people around.
One crew is getting ready to transport someone and they just completed their equipment and weapons check. I have a very weak impression about their security.
First, they were all out of shape. They carried themselves aggressively, but they were all overweight. One of them had an obvious limp. They acted quietly aggressive, but they didn't exude confidence.
Second, there was confusion among them. They were asking each other who was driving and which way they were taking.
Contrast them to another executive security team that just left. They were polite with their eye contact, but eyed suspiciously. They were all in shape. By outward appearances, physically capable of doing their job.
They already knew where they were going, who was driving and where everyone was sitting. Someone, I assume was the team leader, reminded the drivers to "flex" which is shuffling the vehicles while driving. Their equipment checklist included 2 first aid kits per vehicle and spare vehicle keys. They all carried the same 92FS's. My all-time favorite handgun. Same firearm, same ammo and magazines. Probably military trained.
They all wore nice tailored suits with shiny dress shoes, but the shoes weren't for church. Not sure if they still make them, but I had a pair of dress running shoes by Nike. They were way expensive.
Don't really have a point to this. Just making observations.
