I found that site a while back. Lots of good stuff in there. Most of their members seem to be in Utah and it doesn't look like the site is very active anymore.

Here is a good site you might enjoy. It's run by a retired local. Really good list of ghost towns and mining areas.
http://silverstateghosttowns.com

Sometimes when I'm in a mine I think to myself that what I'm seeing hasn't been seen in 50 to 100 years. That may be true in some of the deepest areas. Then I find a picture on a website of almost the same exact scene. In a few of them, the pictures look so alike, the only difference is a foot print. Then I don't feel so special.

Anyone interested in a weber 38 set up for a 258?

I am moving and need to get rid of it.

It has a few thousand miles on it, I swapped it out for Howell EFI.

PM me if you want to connect.

Other than the obvious mods, it looks like showroom quality. Considering all it has, the price seems fair too.

Decided to do Mormon Well Rd. again. The wife hasn't seen it yet and it's an easy drive just to get outside for a while. We will be leaving in around an hour if anyone else is interested.

Understandable. This was a last minute idea anyways. I wasn't sure if the weather would cooperate. I want to get Shannon driving a little and I figure this would be challenging enough for her but not scare her off. She doesn't know she will be driving yet though. We are going to take our time but if I don't check in later towards the evening I am probably broken down and walking down the mountain to get cell reception.

Trail conditions are probably terrible after yesterdays rain. Be careful up there.
