Coworker just showed me a picture of supposedly Arcadia Metals. Looking at the map it's just a little south of the airport towards the eastern end and the picture she showed me looked like a HUGE fire. Also possibly a huge one up in north vegas right now too?

Looks about right. From the angle where I was, it looked like the airport or beyond. News is reporting the fire started at the recycler.

Here's one from a few years ago. Las Vegas Blvd and Sahara.

This is the part where everyone posts how they would have handled that is the most manly manner.

There is nothing manly about shooting someone dead.

Don't forget...you need a catch phrase before the final shot.

Shoot me a PM if you're going to make it. We'll be driving from there up to as close to the Anniversary Narrows as possible, hiking around, then back to the pavement. Time permitting, I'll be doing the Kodachrome Trail on the way back to town. All are welcome.
Address for those who are not as gps savvy as we should be??

No address. It's the trail head off North Shore.

Maybe you can arrange to meet at the lot before the park entrance. Might make it easier for those without GPS.

I won't be joining this trip. Like many here, I'm having Jeep issues and I'm not in good hiking condition at the moment anyway.

I'm not very confident about my UPS dude. He just passed without stopping. The tracking says out for delivery, but there have been times in the past where I know the driver never stopped and they input a missed delivery attempt.

Probably a false alarm. My guy comes at the last hour every time.

Going to go sit in the garage and wait for him. I really don't want to have wait until Monday for this. Later, Jeeps!
