Yea, it's weird. I guess as everything moves faster the noise moves faster with it but I don't notice it getting louder or changing pitch or anything. It's kind of muddled because of the tire noise. It hasn't gotten worse in six months though. It would suck to smoke my diff while I was hours away from home. I can't just pull my rear shaft and make it home like that without damaging the TC. I felt the housing after driving for a few hours and it was warm but just about what the front felt like.

I am thinking maybe rear rotors or pinion bearing. I just changed the wheel bearings a few months ago.

It's probably just a rear speaker.

Whoops, sorry, I forgot how lucky you are. Looks like I'm the a-hole again. You are right it's either the rear speaker or the lug nuts aren't tight. No big deal.

Might be worth the time to support the rear and pull the diff cover and check slop and gears. If its the diff, you'll almost always immediately see damage in the way of broken teeth, blingy oil, bad wear patterns, etc.

Already did that when I put the RP oil in. Spinning tires, ect. I also had the pin out when I repaired the wheel bearings. It's a c clip 44a so you have to to get the shafts out. I couldn't find anything obviously wrong. When I get some cash handy I'm going to take it back to Dan's. Either way I don't have the tools or skills to repair carrier or pinion bearings and gears.
