Your garage door looks like it is about to collapse. They sell the struts to fix that at this mom and pop place over off Sirius and Valley View. I think they are about $15 apiece. I had to put two of them on my door this last fall before it self destructed. Two guys can do it in about ten minutes. Better than $700 for a new door.
It's solid. I nailed the door backing into the garage two years ago when I thought it was all the way up but I was wrong.
Clinging to my guns and my religion
Your ox isn't hanging up is it...they are renowned for not fully disengaging causing a noise from what I have read the linkage loosens and doesn't pull it fully out
Nope. I checked to make sure it is locking and unlocking like it is supposed to. I haven't read anything on them not disengaging. All the stuff I've seen is on them not engaging if the cable isn't adjusted right.
Anyone ever see any A-pillar spotlights in salvage yards? The kind on police cars. Rather than getting regular aux. lights, I was thinking of trying something more flexible.
The icans usually snatch them up pretty quick! I would love to have a set for my tj, but can't seem to find them....plus I'd get fined...a lot for flashing people with their brights on or idiots, or hotties, or...well you get the idea.
The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!
