Well disregard the CB offer!!! LOL Lame! They already sold out of what they had at that price. I did get my intercom system ordered though. I had no intention of spending that cash today but oh well I guess... It's just money! UGH!!! I'll appreciate it when I'm not having to yell in my truck and not getting blasted out by feedback from my current system.

if you guys got something like these you could talk over mountains and to anyone else on the same frequenscies from moapa down to goodpsrings. there are better deals out there. theres maybe 10 regulars to this thread. if you all got the same radios you should be covered for any emergency.

Jacob, I think those are the same exact models I had in some work vehicles. Range and clarity were very good on them. I think if we could find something like that and keep the costs at around $100 or below others here might want in on that.

How is the packing going and when are you leaving? Sucks that you're leaving after you just got here.

I may be out of the Sat night run. I have a nasty pop somewhere in my steering. I have to wait for the wife to get home to turn the wheel back and forth to see what part it is this time.

you just got a new discos i read. disco them and see if you have the pop. if you dont have the pop no more you need to tighten or adjust the discos.

packing was easy. i didnt have much left from after the fire. i don't care losing most of our stuff but we lost lots of pictures. we had one computer with most of our digital pics. thats gone too. were happy with the insurance money. it was more than what we were expecting and more than what we had. we would have left already but we want to make sure the property here is cleaned up good so we dont get fines or liens. we should start the drive east on monday morning.
