I think I figured it out. It looks like a Mackeral Shark (Otodus obliquus) tooth. It's a white shark that swam around 60 million years ago. I have an email out to a professor for positive identification.

LOL i know you mean me!

my house caught fire on sunday. nobody was hurt but my shop is to the ground. all of my tools and equipment i need for work were in there. insurance will cover it if i pass the arson inevestigation. i didnt set the fire but it does look that way. the report said there was excellerent patterns on the floor. its a hydraulic workshop so there are excellerents all over the place. i should be good to work with just hand tools. i harly ever use the electronic gizmos anyway.

That sucks man. At least no one was hurt. You can replace tools not people.

Sorry about your house and shop. Glad nobody was hurt. I know someone that had to wait almost five months for the arson investigation to end, but that fecker really did burn his own shyt down.

thanks guys. i still dont know how the fire started. it looks electrical like it started somewhere in the ceiling. its an old place so who knows.

That put's things in perspective because you never know when something like that will happen. I always thought I would be able to see something like that coming, but I was in a bad accident in 2007 and every day after that is a gift.
