nah, new new jeep!

Also, found the issue. The trans shop lost half of my torque arm bushing, so the whole drive line is basically trying to rip itself out of the truck when i hit the gas.

Sigh, they found the other half the other day apparently...thanks for calling me and telling me I have an unstable transmission mount....

Yeah, i'd say the V8 probably produces a bit more rotational force, but I dont know.

Folks are saying it's pretty key. Someone was saying he lost one on his YJ and the shifter would tweak out pretty bad every time he started in 1st gear.

Anyway, a twisting/torquing transmission (bad torque arm, bad transmission mount) is what causes your damn bellhousing to split from ear to ear...like this...

and then your PO does a crappy weld job and puts it back in the truck, forcing you to buy a new transmission case when you take it out for a rebuild....

A lot of people have had their hands on this 40 year old truck, haha.

No I was in L.A. for the weekend visiting some friends from college. Sad I missed out though. Hopefully there is another run soon. I've been itching to get back out.
