Got over that first bump on escalator and there was a ton of water in that second level (cant see from pic) and i had no traction to make it up any more. Tried hard too and ended up with a broken tail light and dented/scratched rear hatch both on the passenger side. Last time out to Logandale with Roger, I had more trail damage. Go figure.
When we got our permits for a 4x4 camping pass in Canyonlands, they said no dogs allowed on a piece of paper we signed, like a waiver/emergency contact info. When we camped in Moab, other ppl around our sites had dogs. When we went to Arches, didnt see/notice any signs about dogs.
Yea we went the week after EJS and thought there were gonna be a **** ton of off roading jeep, but the trails were not crowded at all. Looks like Potato Ridge was way more crowded this week.
If my jeep goes belly up, I want to the end up in Moab in its after life. Jeep to other vehicle ratio is 3:1
LOL...few weeks ago i went wheeling with a few VV 4wheelers and it was one of the most damaging run ive seen.
I mean like several people breaking down during the run...broken axles,u joint etc...I lost my front lockers during the run and my long arm bushings took a crap.To this day my TJ still got bad vibrations taking off on first or second gear.
Nice pix BTW im hoping to head over there next year.

The Vegas Valley guys like to run some of the more Challenging stuff. I am also a member of the Desert Wranglers meet up group, most are a little green and the "club" runs are easier. But the posted runs from the more experienced members are good. They been fun to run with. Here is a run they have posted for next week::
On the 7th Gold Butte & Devil's Throat -more scenic than anything else but few areas to play http://www.meetup.com/Desert-Wrangle...ents/17495089/[quote]
Hello, my name is Puck (Eric)(friends call me Puck) I live here in Las Vegas and would very much like to go with the group. I do not own a 4WD Jeep at this time, and would like to ride with some one and pay my way with fuel and food on this trail if some one would be willing to carry me. I do have some trail experiance and would enjoy helping as much as i can. I am some what new to Las Vegas and would like to meet people that have the interest as I do. If any one is willing to have me go with them on this trail, please contact me via PM or Text at 702-271-2012.
What time do y'all think you'll be back by??? Gotta be at work by 4
Yikes- the trail is up near Mesquite and is 60miles long. some are staying up there for a overnighter. I am not. You could bug out when you need to but you would not have much trail time if you need to be back in LV by 4.
Its officially official. I sold my 03 TJ but replaced it with a new 2011 Rubicon . Of course, being that I like black Jeeps (03...), I picked up an all black Rubi with the hard top, 6 speed manual, and thats about it for options. Nothing crazy...
Now, time to think about whether I go with a 3-3.5" lift and 35s or a 4.5" lift and 37s... Decisions, decisions...
