That is IF we are talking about the same area
I would like to give it a go with my XJ there. I figure I should be narrow and short enough to go right through.

It's not the one up into the canyon. I think I've heard about that one, this one is directly to your left about 50'. Basically you're heading up a wash and it's a climb right out of the wash. Isn't the one David tried that the rock stopped the one that's kinda below that uphill very narrow feeling climb? IF that's the same spot, this one I'm thinking of isn't that... But you could know the one I'm taking about. I just know someone told me about a rock/windshield combo that was the game ender and I know where that one was, it's not the one I saw yesterday.

The windshield ender one I heard about was off to the left of this line but a bit further up the canyon... If this is the one you're thinking of, it's not the same one I spotted yesterday.

Off to the left here...

Or off to my right here...

BTW, friends 60+ year old dad's 2nd time ever using 4wd on his jeep...

Eh screw it, few more pics...

Wasn't even nervous here...

I'm just bummed cause now he wants to do more and spend a bit more on the jeep which sucks cause I just helped him with deciding gears 3 months ago. Had I known he was going to eventually move off of just graded dirt roads I'd have pushed him towards a selectable locker at that same time too!

Where's the damn mall!!! The kids are getting impatient in the back!!!

BTW, when I say double climb... It looked like maybe a 10-15' first climb, then MAYBE a vehicles length of flat to another maybe 6-8' climb. Pretty steep, steep enough I'm not sure I'd want to come down it even if I could make it up, which I don't think I could...

I wouldn't do it in a Jeep again but I seriously would in my car. Yes, I was fun in the Jeep but also scary as hell.

Time I wound the Wagoneer up to 90. That was interesting.

I don't miss living there. Was talking with a friend that's still down there for a bit last night and she was telling me some stuff that just had me shaking my head when it comes to trends and crap!

Progress?

(It had run for about a minute total a few minutes before this... Hence no temps on oil or water. Have on minor oil leak on a fitting at my cooler. Took about 5 seconds for oil pressure to build on the gauge on the first attempt. Fired very first time I hit the button. So far so good... Mustang is jealous though, so it died on me this morning! LOL Literally walked home. LOL)

By next Monday, I'll be waiting on parts and once I have those in hand I'll have about an hour of work to do to hit the dirt. The catch is, I have no clue when I'll get the parts, it's outta my hands... The cab just needs seat belts installed and that's it. Seats are in, dash and console is in, doors are back on it. I'll slap the belts in the cab in the morning and it's ready to go. Oh, route the intercom cables too. Then the rear bumper needs 6 more tubes and I need to weld up the whole rear setup. Probably will get all that done tomorrow. Then load it on the trailer in the afternoon and drop it off for exhaust on Monday. Get it back and basically I just need to put the coil overs on the front once I get the lower coil seats...
