At least damage wise it doesn't look to bad. I guess it would be pretty easy to replace the fuel pump while on its side. Glad no one was hurt.

Either doing something dumb or just not paying attention for a moment.

The FSJ I was talking about literally just wasn't looking got too close to the edge of the trail where like 5 others had already driven and whoops! Over the embankment they went.

Hey Puck, being that you seem to be around a lot when these things happen, have you decided to cage your ish yet? I am of the opinion that if you wheel hard enough, long enough, you will eventually go over. Your time is coming, my friend and I hope you have a cage prior to it.

You are correct Andy, I do seem to be there alot. And no, not yet, still cageless. I really plan on having it done as soon as I can though, debt has been my priority at the moment. The wife and I have just paid through 4k in debt the past 2 months so spending money for the XJ is on the back burner. And we still have about 18k left to pay off.

Good for you puck! Keep it going man. I saw an exo-caged xj on CL and with the size of an xj I think that is the only way to go. Especially for us big guys.

Ditto puck!!!! Keep it up man!!!

Hey Marn, you'll be very happy to know that from the time you left to right now, there has been basically zero progress. That coilover shock is still laying in the exact same spot on the truck after I pulled the 2 bolts and it fell off. All that has been done is a rear axle vent line was installed, you know, a hose over a nipple, tightened a hose clamp and applied an excessive amount of zip ties. 5 minutes of work was done since you left the garage so I'm right on schedule for you! LOL On the other hand, I did watch the chump car races from 1am-5am sunday morning. LOL

. They will never get $7k for that. A run of the mill car with really no redeeming qualities going for it. You can buy a running driver for that much.

Not necessarily depending what options and what's truly original on the car...

I guess I must be related to Powr because between that build with the trailer included $30K doesn't seem too bad of a starting asking price; leaves some room to negotiate and leave both feeling like they got a deal.
