Nice try bucko, I had to work pretty hard to get those myself . That being said, you better not tell her that you will work for guns or I will be in trouble!

Do any of you ios users use apple tv? Any down sides or issues? I just learned about it today when I was looking at an ipad to tv HDMI adapter and it looked interesting.

I have two of them (1 in living room, 1 in bedroom). I have owned the living room one for 3 years. Although I do not use them every day, they are sweet, especially if you use apple devices. Also it has netflix, hulu, and tons of other web based apps to view content. I like that I can be sitting on the couch and can throw a YouTube video I am watch on my phone onto my 61" television so I can share it with whoever is in the room as well. Also, nice for parties as you can play content from your computer remotely on your tv like pictures, movies, and music.

I recommend them and for only $99 they are much better than chrome cast (roommate has) and other similar products.

Hope this helps.

I have one. It's jailbroken so I can stream movies from my time capsule (wireless hard drive).

Why do you have to jailbreak it to do that? Isn't it supposed to be able to connect to your computer? A wireless hard drive should be able to do something similar should it not?

Oh yeah, it just registered when you said it again, you would need one per TV it was hooked to.

Yes it does. It allows me to play movies that are not in iTunes format (so I don't have to convert them all in Handbrake). I also don't use iTunes on the Apple TV. I use an application called XBMC. Posted from outer space.

Well, I formally apologize. I usually consider myself to be pretty observant. You know, checking for people playing the knockout game and what not. And looking for fire exits. Anyway, don't know how I missed it... What were you doing all the way over here?
