How's that for a new year?
Good job Marn! I bet El Jeffe is very happy with you.

I do get commission, but commission is based on profit (I'm not straight commission because I do alot more than sales). So, if I ensure that the jobs come in and make the company money, I ensure that I make me money.

Either way its just great to get a running start. normally we struggle and often lose money in jan/feb. Now i can hopefully keep a bag log of work through the spring summer and into the fall, and just kill it all year long.

Congrats on the sales! I wish we did commissions like that in our industry, I waste way too much time dealing with shady sales shenanigans.

Doesn't matter to me. The car that is below the Summit, I had for less than 24 hours before a friend of mine lost control and sent it off a cliff. He was horrified, I laughed. After that, I ripped the guts out of it and rebuilt it. If I swap the gears in it, I can get it to do 75 MPH. it is a ***** to control like that so I have it geared to hit about 55 right now. When I was home on leave, I had one of my little brothers planes up in the air for all of 3 seconds before I sent it hurtling back towards Earth never to be flown again. The point is that there is nothing you could do to it that I couldn't do myself and even if something were to happen to it, it means that I either have an opportunity to upgrade or use the electronics in a different project.

Honestly, it would give me an excuse to make that car run at 75 again. I could take an extra servo and use it to give me manual control over the cars transmission. With that, I would program the radio for dual rates so that when I put the car into high gear, the steering wasn't as sensitive.

You guys should just meet at Tommy Rockers on Dean Martin. It's an easy central location and their food is pretty decent.

Does anyone have a belt sander? Or something I could grind down a temp sensor with? Maybe also has a large thread tap? I need to do this to a temp sensor. Starting at 2:27
