Marn what did you end up doing with your gas tank to clean it out? I've been trying to get my truck to start and the gas is way bad and I need to clean it out. I won't need to weld anything just see if I can clean a bunch of it out.

Just light it on fire, and the bad gas will dry out!

I'll pull it out and have you come do that for me. There is only like 2-3 gallons on it. I though I had added some sta-bil but not 100% on that.

Luckily for me I have a very popular truck and I can get a gas tank from autozone let alone at least 10 different companies carry tanks for a 40 yr old truck. I would rather save $100-400 if I don't have to spend it.

If anyone sees or knows about a good deal on a 220 volt mig welder can you let me know? I have some cash coming I was planning to spend on rims but if I find a good deal on a welder I may jump on that instead.

I used mine again over the weekend and the splatter from the flux wire plus the lack of power adjustability is driving me nuts. Turns out Harbor Freight wasn’t the way to go on this purchase.

I'll let someone with a little more experience chime in, but if I remember the trail correctly yes you will have lots of problems with Tie rod.

I think that you will have issues with the break over angle.

I had a friend with a stock Nissan Frontier do it with the only major issue being a blown out sidewall. It was tight at times, you'll need a spotter in some areas, and you won't be able to hit any of the side stuff.
