Check out The Mane Barber Shop. It's on Ft Apache just south of Tropicana. They did a great job on my shave for Movember.

Pretty glad I was wearing slippers.

I hadn't worn this pair of slippers in a day or two, and they had been sitting by the back door. I picked them up to put them away, and saw that on the bottom. I guess it was a damn good thing I was wearing them whenever the last time I wore them was!

I swear, marn. Your place and those dang scorpions! You'd think you live in texas or something! thats seriously freaky. My mom told me stories about being stationed in texas and having to shake out their shoes before putting them on and having to shake off clothes because of the scorpions getting in/on shoes/clothing during the night! Thats seriously freaky. Put on your shoes to go to work and get stung by a scorp and not be able to walk on that foot for a while!

The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!

I see scorpions every now and then. I don't worry about them much when they are outside. Inside they die. In the time that I have been in this house, I have had a total of one inside. I worry much more a about them when deployed. I put socks over the top of my boots and sleep with a mosquito net over the bed to keep scorpions and camel spiders out.
