Yes... You can see the stubs left here...

And I've relocated the cell to it's new position...

It's amazing what 6 hours or so of scrubbing will do to the look of a rust chassis!!! Good thing Power never saw it, he'd likely think it was about to fall apart! Clear coat is almost done also. Got the whole cage done and actually have a 2nd coat on the back half already too. Will finish a 2nd coat on the cab and front tonight. Then pull it out to pressure wash the bottom side tomorrow and begin the rest of the tear down.

I didn't get as much done as I'd planned yesterday. I had some unexpected house guests last night.
all the years of being single sure does give you nice technique and stamina for cleaning out i mean cleaning off your tubes

I actually cracked a joke about that with the chick I was out with sat night. Honestly, I'm 100% happy with single and no strings! I still have the "benefits" only mine get to vary as I please and I think they're a lot cheaper honestly. They don't come with headaches cause if they start to get that way, I change it up. And I get to do as I please like stroke metal tubing for 6 hours... Nobody complains about a pool table in the dining room, not parking in the garage cause of my projects, or me spending too much time with friends, hobbies, etc... I really don't see what the benefit you relationship people have to be honest! LOL Hell, I'm gonna go put on my 2nd coat of clear here in a few minutes cause a chick is gonna be here around 7:30ish...

It's funny what everyone else's priorities are on the truck vs mine. I haven't even decided on a body style yet because it's so far away in reality let alone a color. I'm more concerned with that page long list that's above the color choice of things to do. LOL But the original cab color with bullhorns on the front of the hood has been tossed around.

When it's running and I can drive it around the block I'll start worrying about that kinda stuff but even then, I might still not have the cash to do anything so...

I was working on mine today while my son was sleeping, he started to wake up and so I went inside to take care of him..... Well in the middle of all this I think I left my keys in my jeep.... 5 hours later we are about to go out and get some dinner and I look for keys and I can't find them... I am just hoping that they are in some place stupid, and someone didn't grab them..I don't care If someone steals my truck its a 6liter and is insured for more than its worth.. I just don't want someone stealing my jeep. Pisses me off.

I'm pretty sure anyone that's seen it will vouch that it's no joke. Again, the pictures by far don't do this truck justice. Till you see it in person it's just another hooptie...
I just don't think you realize how much time I have spent bolting on parts. Lmao. I just to show you that I don't do it powr style, it had less than 100 miles when it had its first holes drilled and wires spliced.

I don't think I've touched a bolt on the truck yet. It all came apart with dzeus fasteners for the most part. I think the bolts start this weekend possibly... And for the record, this chassis has less then 100 miles, in fact, it's got less then a mile on it in it's current state and I cut 2 tubes out of it already. I got over my fear of cutting up perfectly good rigs quite a while ago. If anyone needs a hole drilled in their ride, just let me know...

I actually think it had less than 100 miles when it saw its first plasti-dip too.

I will have to stop by after New Year's to check it out.

Wait that hole saw didn't look like that last time I saw/used it! Haha I remember it gently skipping it's way across my hood! Haha

That's cause you're a real man and you're not afraid to do manly things like running a hole saw across your hood instead of thru it!
