Sir! You can't bring that in here! Oh wait, I'm sorry, for a minute there I thought it was a real gun, my bad, you may continue to your gate, have a nice flight.

I'm pretty sure anyone that's seen it will vouch that it's no joke. Again, the pictures by far don't do this truck justice. Till you see it in person it's just another hooptie...
Nope, the truck is a hooptie. The only solution is to load it on the trailer and I'll come by to dispose of it for you. In fact, the only reason it hasn't burst into flames out of embarrassment is because you built Jason's truck.

Was it the tubes above the fuel cell that you cut out?

I do remember flying about 2 years ago after xmas and watching them take a toy gun in an unwrapped package from like an 8 y/o kid in front of me. The gun was so amazingly fake and plastic and see thru yet they took it. A few of us gave every single TSA agent there **** our entire way thru the rest of the line after that. So stupid!!!

Yes... You can see the stubs left here...

And I've relocated the cell to it's new position...

It's amazing what 6 hours or so of scrubbing will do to the look of a rust chassis!!! Good thing Power never saw it, he'd likely think it was about to fall apart! Clear coat is almost done also. Got the whole cage done and actually have a 2nd coat on the back half already too. Will finish a 2nd coat on the cab and front tonight. Then pull it out to pressure wash the bottom side tomorrow and begin the rest of the tear down.

I didn't get as much done as I'd planned yesterday. I had some unexpected house guests last night.

BTW, if anyone happens to have any TALL jack stands I'm looking for a set. I'll likely just build my own but if anyone knows of any for a reasonable price I may be interested.

You're welcome to stop by any time. I live near the corner of Twain and Buffalo and work near the corner of Tenaya and Cheyenne. Let me know which of those locations works for you and we can figure out a time.
