Or there's this one with a 351 and street plates for not much more then what I sold mine for also...
Sooo did you put that ford on the back burner for good? Is that white truck a better truck than the ford you wanted?

Actually I used those two trucks as leverage to talk the F150 down another $2000 today. I then added up retail on just the parts that I know of are on the truck and I'm ballparking it's around $40-44K that he has into the truck as it sits right now plus whatever the trailer is worth.

That white truck has an engine in it that I couldn't afford to keep alive. If someone like me bought that white truck, the smartest thing they could do is sell the motor for pretty big money and dump an LS in it. It's running an oddfire Chevy Nascar motor... I can't afford to play with that level of engine!

I have to wait and see how things go this weekend before I can 100% pull the trigger on this thing...

Not happening anytime soon now. It was either or... $2500 for an atlas or like 8 times that for a truck, can't do both. HA! Maybe 2015.

Get the atlas and bomb through the desert with teh Goldie (Sploder). Then buy a pre runner... Just an idea.

The problem with that is I think your definition of bombing through the desert is different then mine cause my explorer definitely won't do that to the extent that I want to.

400hp on the other hand and

should be able to bomb thru the desert once it's done.

What needs to be done to it for it to be ready to go?

Shocks need bolted on, need to buy a front clip and install the fiberglass, wire engine to chassis, plumb the coolers, driveshaft and a full tear down to bare chassis and reassembly.
