I think I'm too sober to understand that one Marn... LOL

It's more like selling a truck that you built by hand from scratch. Not just bolting on some bumpers and a lift kit and saying you "built it" like most people do, it's a bit beyond using a floor jack and some wrenches to turn bolts and build you car. Whatever though, it's gone...

I need to get the title mailed to the dude asap. I couldn't get it notarized yesterday... Gonna try again today on my lunch. If not, I'll probably get it done in Az this weekend. Anyone happen to know a notary here that's "cool"? I was filling out the back of the title just working my way down the boxes and didn't see that about 3 lines below the signature box it needed to be notarized. So I signed it and kept going down the line and then said to myself... "CRAP!" My bank wouldn't touch it cause they had never notarized a title, the signature was already there and they freaked out cause I didn't have the odometer mileage filled in. Gonna fill in the odo today but still need someone that will let me double sign it or just accept that it really was my sig and notarize it for me.

Sell your wagon that I'd argue you probably didn't quite build as much hands on as I did and then lets discuss the touchy feely... LOL

Blasting something with kermit sounds kinda boring... Yesterday was fun! Thursday I'm gonna do more of the same but on 2 wheels instead of 4 this time. Eating for thanksgiving, ha! Who's idea of a good time is that? I'm just hoping robertos is open for breakfast and dinner that day! LOL

Thats where we differ! I'd never sell my baby! Ha. Right! If somebody came along with the right offer, it'd go. I'm not super attached in that sense.

Congrats on the truck Khris! It's a bittersweet sell I am sure.

Speaking of doing things yourself, I have to admit there is nothing like a stealership service price quote to motivate me to do something myself. The wife's grocery getter ('08 FJ Cruiser) has been acting a bit odd with the transmission lately so I decided to check to make sure it wasn't low on fluid. Talk about a chore, there is no dipstick so you gotta have it at operating temps and running on a level surface then crawl underneath it and take out the overflow plug to see if there is oil overflowing, then shut off the engine, take out the fill plug add some, then repeat with the idling at operating temp and letting the 115-130 degree tranny fluid come out the overflow on top of you while you while you are laying cramped under a hot running vehicle trying not to burn yourself, then repeat as necessary until its running freely then goes down to a trickle.

UGH! Well, it WAS low, it's all good now and I saved myself the pain of $350 to pay the stealership do the same thing.

X2 chad. I got quoted $800 to change spark plugs on my truck from team ford. I bought the $60 tool and did it my self for $160 in parts. I'm actually about to do it again because I bought champion plugs then found out they only last a few thousand miles and I'm starting to have problems again. Your trans sound like a way bigger PITA!

There are some new cars that I know of that need the front bumper taken off to replace the headlight bulb.....

Yup, on the Magnum it was a bunch of stupid Mercedes stuff (from the Daimler/Benz days). Transmission was sealed, no way to check it or flush it without hooking it to a stupid trans flush machine.

as much as i screw stuff up, thats something i love about the wagoneer.

I thought the wagoneer was simple, and then i started working on the nova, holy crap, there's literally nothing under the hood other than an engine,a few hoses, and like 3 wires.
