Why not. I do it all the time. Of course I have the set-up to do it correctly.....which means 1 ton truck 30k rated hitch, air bags, electric over hydraulic trailer brakes blah blah blah. The load in these pics is right at about 13.5klbs and that is just the trailer and 2 rigs. Tows just fine.

Uh, Garza, are my eyes wrong here??? Weren't you talking about stretching your wheelbase a bit more still? Sure looks like you're pushed to the max in trailer space as is right now. Do you have the room to push those rear wheels back further and still haul it?

I pulled up the curb weight on both the jeeps and your right, both trucks we have access to are over the weight limit with both jeeps. Just the jeeps alone is going to be 8k in weight.

I agree, I've towed heavy loads by bumper. With the right truck and hitch it tows fine. Unfortunately neither of the trucks we have access to for the trip can get anywhere near towing 13.5K lbs.

Yep you have crazy eyes I took that pic just playing around loading them different ways. Now, the YJ faces forward and has a negative departure angle so I can pull right in between the tires until my front tires touch the back of his. Plenty of room. and if I stretch its only 6" in wheelbase, and I will have either a 0 deg departure angle or negative so I will back on and it will be just fine.

Then I wouldn't even be looking for a trailer that can haul 2 rigs. That wont be safe for you guys or anyone around you.....and the only thing I'm basing that off is brakes, anything less than a trailer with an awesome brake set up and the brakes of a 2500-3500 truck and your asking for "all bad"

I'm going to guess that your rig and pucks together weigh around 7500-8k and any trailer that can do it around 2500-3500k....so your pretty much in 3/4-1ton territory.....Our trailer in that pic weighs like 4K+ unloaded!

You guys want to take my dads 82 f-350 NA diesel. It gets 8-10 mpg with no load. It would be cheaper to rent a truck and trailer then to just pay for fuel.

Looks like we need to borrow at least one single jeep trailer, preferably two. I have a trailer but the axels need replaced. It’s fine for around town but I’m nervous about taking it on a 1000 mile round trip.

Plus we need to trailer both rigs. Given how Puck and me wheel there's a good chance one or both will be going home broken.

Wait, why does every one think i am going to break something? The worst i have ever done is mangle some body panels... I try to wheel with a light foot, i rarely need to use the go peddle to get up an obstical...

I would be more worried about you getting ran over on some of those passes with 80 mph speed limits.

Don't you need an endorsement to tow over 11k?
