You are talking about the Rubicon 10th anaversary bumper right? If so, they are ugly as ****.... Just my opinion.

Yeah it is the rear. I think that it looks pretty good for a factory one.

Does the trailer have a vin number of some sort? I am sure that you are not the First person to do this, but be prepared to wait at the dmv

You have to take it to be inspected at the DMV. I recommend the one on Sahara as they are by far the most lenient in Vegas. Just get it inspected and they will put a VIN on it and mail you a title for it. And trust me on the Sahara location. I took the same trailer to the Stephanie location first, and was told I had to do a bunch of stuff and get a letter from FL, etc. literally drove to the Sahara location that day and they processed it right away, no questions asked.

Good luck.

I don't see a vin on it anywhere.

Like I said when hooked to shore power the blower is about twice as loud and the burner fired right up.

Buddy that sold it to me said they used to be off the grid for a few nights and everything would run on the battery.
I always had issues with running my furnace on battery power. I ended up running the truck all night to power it when it got too cold to live without. I had a diesel though so it wasn't as much of an issue to run all night. I would recommend checking the battery terminals and all the wires if everything checks out and the battery tests good I would consider going to a 2 battery set up if you have space. The increased amperage should make a big difference. Mine was supposed to have two batteries but I never bothered adding a second. Never under estimate my laziness. Somehow running the truck all night made more sense than adding a battery.

I think if you just weld a piece of box steel to the bumper like the smitty built has for it to latch on you should be in business.

My poison spyder swing out uses what looks like a locking mechanism off of an old truck. They welded a box around the mechanism on the bumper and have a pin on the swing out. Zero rattles or issues on the trail.

I should have the room to add another but we will see.

I don't have power to the camper from the truck.

There is only something small like a 14 or 16 gauge wire running from the battery to the converter. Perhaps I should run something beefier.

Get a small solar set up to trickle charge it when it is parked. You can probably get one of the vw ones for pretty cheap.
