I prefer Dan's over Adams, but I know the drive is a bit further for you east side folks

Messing with people is so easy. Nothing like posting a picture of your christmas tree from several years back and telling people that you already set your tree up this year.

On a better note... I am giving up on the whole commuting thing and I am going to start working form home again here soon. That drive to Henderson every day was killing me. I might still do it once or twice a month thought. But for you bean counters... this should save me almost 2 hours a day and over $80 a week in gas... probably more if I count my lunch bills.

What do you guys think about this? http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/4189520907.html
I'm trying to find my younger brother (16 years old) a cheap vehicle. This needs some work, but my brother only has to drive five miles a day and this could be a nice toy on the weekends for him.

Hopefully this isn't someone's on the forum, but I think the vehicle is worth about half the asking price? Given the risk factor in having to fix it up. I was going to make an offer but I'm wondering if I should just pass altogether.

The nice thing is YJ's are easy to work on and learn how to wrench around. If the body and chassis are in great shape everything else is just adding or changing parts here and there as necessary. The transmission issues is what made me pause the most, those get expensive quick and the average shade tree mechanic can't do that stuff at home as easily. With the "firm" pricing I am guessing he isn't very negotiable. If it were me, I would hold out for a '92 or newer, gives the extended roll cage and shoulder belts to his buddies in the back and fuel injection (FI started in 91) plus the HO engine.

Friend's jeep in Az has a new owner and he still gets to drive it. It's getting a 2nd life and a full ground up fresh prep! Kinda jealous...

LOL, they found a minor oops!

Empty cab...
