Powr, you talk to Larry? He has a thread on here about your speedo gear issue if you haven't figured it out yet.

Locked, welcome!
It's been done before with just a bedcage many times but for piece of mind I'd personally tie it into a cab cage for that extra bit of support. Cab cage without the diagonals out the top is pretty simple actually. You're thinking extra cab, not crew cab right? No 3rd door or anything? If so, simple and still very very effective when you land upside down on accident.

No third door. You just come straight out the back of the cab and omit the diagonals? I think I have seen one like that but it never occured to me to do it. Having been upside down, I would prefer to never have that happen again even though I know it probably will. LOL

Just do your diagonals from the B pillar to the mid point of the C pillar where the horizontal tube going out to the bedcage ties in. If you wanna get real thorough continue the diagonal back under neath that horizontal from the C-pillar back to the frame rail under the bed area.

Looking forward to meeting you Locked, travel safe & watch your six when you get here, if you see Roobicon headed your way with a big tube of lube that says welcome on it you might want to reconsider how bad you want a welcome

On an entirely different note.. I HATE being home sick! It's sooo boring + feeling miserable on top of that doesn't help much. I'd rather go to work and get stuff done while I am miserable than be miserable AND useless.
To top it off, the dude with the welder replied and says he's avail for me to come check it out. Ugh, I don't even want to go to the front door much less to somebody's house.

Okay :whineoff:
Okay I think I figured it out... Beer is everyone's friend, and there will be a guy running down the street after me with lube when I pull into town. Sound accurate??

Agreed SparkyPowers and our good Doc have all the points for style with Sparky edging out the competition for the older rig + not getting stuck but Jared definitely has the cool factor going on with the hang time on that passenger rear.

Someone with lots of money should buy and wheel this: http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/4088557994.html

I need to get rid of this cold/flu.. I have been up since before 1AM, went through all of my work email, perused all the normal forums and CL/BP postings.. and mentally spent way more than I could ever make.
