Marn, cathedral gorge is sweet! There's a hot spring swimming hole up about 10 minutes from there that's pretty badass. It's not hot by anymeans, more like warm... Not sure if you'll get this but i can PM you a link to right where it is on google maps or something if you want. There's an amazing slot canyon you can drive thru near it too. Graded dirt road on an old railroad base, a car could make it but it's super scenic!

And that expo, the dude that owns it runs the prerunner maniac page. He's supposed to do a video shoot on both my truck and the race truck pretty soon.

Snapped a wheel stud pulling the rear tires off the expo this morning. Brake pads and some gusset welding turned into a bit more of a project then planned. All good though now. Got the new spring plates on with shorter ubolts that shouldn't act so much like rock anchors too.

Do you have an unusually large # of flies this year too? We have flies all over the yard and porch this year and I can't figure out why

I talked with the bug guy at work he said its because of the weather we have been having with the rain ect. I got him coming over next week to spray for roaches and spiders. they are super bad this year

Fly strips didn't work at all for me. Go to a feed store and ask for their fly control section. I picked these up at the Country Store on Dean Martin near 215 and they are working great. Gotta be close to 100 flies in each of the two of them after only a few hours.

Radiator installed with no leaks. We'll see if this one lasts longer than 3 months lol

Holy cow Roobicon, that thing is awesome: please post a pic of the other side of the bottle that shows the brand name etc. I gotta score on 1 or 2 of those for my place.
Glad to hear the radiator went in okay Jared, I'll keep the fingers crossed for you.
I spent a few hours tearing apart the front end of my DD Honda so I could get at the headlight lenses with a buffer to get rid of all that yellow haze crap the sun bakes the plastic into then trimmed the 'ears' off of some HIR bulbs to adapt them to my headlight brackets to hopefully get some brighter light and better life out of them. Those stupid sylvania ones that said they were so bright are blue and last about 6months a pop. Whatta ripoff!

Anyone else do anything interesting today?

HID kits on ebay are pretty cheap. my buddy did some on his car and it helps a lot. I have a kit for my raptor but i haven't installed it yet.

I put black carpet into the TJ the other day...
Took this off today...let me know if anyone wants to buy it. It moves the tire down quite a bit so you can see more out the back window, also moves it out for a wider tire, and it has a lock on it that goes though the lug hole so no one steals your spare

Im pretty sure these rims are like 2" backspace so a normal set of rims should make the tire a lot closer to the tailgate

Here ya go. I bought two different brands to see which would work better. I'd say they are working, but you want them away from the house because they smell like crap...literally.

Cool, thanks for the pic, did you find that one worked better than the other of the two?

I agree about finding HID kits being relatively inexpensive now, but I have seen too many of them not last long or deal with much vibration or anything & the folks on the hondatech forums were saying that these HIR bulbs were just as bright, and for $60 a pair, I figured it would be well worth it.
I don't know anyone that carries their spare on their tailgate anymore Raptor or I would spread the word for you. Good luck with the sale.
