It's all fun and games until you receive third degree burns. Then suddenly, it's time to scream and freak out! I love how people always try to squirm or try to wiggle out from under the fire that's on their clothing, rather than cover it with a blanket, towel or at least pat it out.

Ash meadows. It's like 100 miles north just off the 95. I had never been out there but my grandpa said it is a nice place. It really was. Lots of marsh and actually very pretty. Hopefully ill make it up there again this month. We now plan on heading back up for ducks.

I keep on reading about Ash Meadows... I just didn't want to brave the summer temps to go see it.

Also for anybody looking for a challenge, Angels Peaks is pretty washed out. We did it from Kyle Canyon to the 95. If you are looking for a real good challenge try from 95 to Kyle Canyon. Some of the places were eroded all the way down to the rock. It was pretty crazy going down it, I could not imagine going up it. The road that goes next to the power lines is almost like a wash now most of the way. and of course I had left my new camera at home... so no videos or good pictures.

Moving on a Hooters Saturday in unacceptable!! Though you could get everyone to help you move then pick up the tab by batting your eyes at Don.

We did pretty well. I limited out, my FIL got 2 then twisted his ankle and we went home. We saw probably 100 total. They were literally everywhere.
