So, kid and his Dad came by to look at my hooptie last night. Kinda didn't go the way I expected completely at least... I expected the kid to want it, the dad to shoot it down saying impractical, too much money, etc... Instead... The kid wanted it. Dad got fixated on the race truck and started talking like maybe they needed to add another $10K-15K to their budget and buy something that could be raced. Kid shot the idea down, still wanted my truck. Dad kinda blew my truck off as not being enough truck for what they're looking for and could tell was contemplating upping the budget right there on the spot. I told them before they made a decision to let me take them on a test run in my truck. They may come back Sunday morning to go for a quick run down hollywood. I'm going to text them tomorrow afternoon/eve to see if they're leaning towards a test ride. I really think a ride in the truck is the hidden ace in my pocket for selling it. If they say they're going to come back out for a test ride then I'll probably run out there tomorrow evening and do a test run or two to make sure it's still what it was last time and make sure the rains haven't washed anything out or left any hidden trenches for me to rip off the front end showing off to a potential buyer. I can come home, put a wrench on everything really quick and then give it a solid sellers show off thrashing Sunday morning! LOL

Well the kid rolled up in probably a $30-35K tacoma that was VERY nice. He was just sick of beating on it and looking for something more purpose built rather then hammering on his DD.

4 months

3 months of that was searching for the problem. Now that a potential issue revealed itself, its been another 3 weeks which is out of my control. Freakin' annoying.

Saw a red dodge ram at lunch with a huge sticker across his back window that said " the second amendment is the only gun permit that I need" then there was a big outline of a hand gun. At the bottom it said "so go F U C K yourself"

I was thinking that the guy voted for our current president

The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!
