So yesterday I did my usual drive up Kyle Canyon while the kids napped. It was raining, which for me makes the ride even more enjoyable. On the way down I was doing the speed limit as usual which resulted in me being tailgated, honked at, and given dirty looks when passed as usual. Well then it really started to rain, I meed like Vietnam type monsoon. They all slowed down to like 5 mph... while I just threw it in 4H and passed them all on the shoulder in the mud. It made me feel good. I probably passed a good 20 people that way and even once we got passed the monsoon type rain, I did not see a single person the rest of the way.

I wish I wasn't too lazy, I would post some video from last week showing how good the wash was running up there. IT was all dark brown/black from the fire runoff too, so it looked thick and nasty.

I remember, my fan clutch committed suicide and was making a god awful racket as I was driving around that night. figured it out the next morning and had my spare fan swapped in in about 10 minutes. Wish i'd known that sooner haha.

I really wish I could be there for this one. Unfortunately, my squadron has decided that me being here is more important than my being there for the race. What do they know?

Good luck to the TPF crew and anyone there to help out.

Powr, hope your mom recovers completely and soon. Sorry to hear about all of that.

Hey Greg, I almost texted you yesterday; I went up Kyle Canyon Road too. The rain was pretty awesome. I tooled around on a couple little trails and then came home. I did see a very close lightning strike that caught a Cholla on fire. FD came and put it out with an engine and a Rescue truck. Talk about overkill. Then two Forest Service Fire trucks showed up for good measure.

She's responding to physical stimulus, like tickling her foot and she opens her eyes when they touch the defib burns. Positive signs! Trying to stay hopeful.

The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!
